Device compatibility is one of Bunny Books top priorities. Our software is being designed to maximize accessibility for web-based, iOS, and Android devices alike - including computers, laptops, mobile phones and tablets.

OCR stands for "Optical Character Recognition". This technology is able to extract and analyze text and other information from pictures, PDFs, and images. OCR is frequently used in Data Entry, mail and shipping, mobile banking deposits, and identity verification. At Bunny Book, we are using OCR enhanced software to upload of multi-generational pedigrees by snapping a picture. From the image, OCR can identify and generate a record of each rabbit listed and link them to their respective parents. Besides, being REALLY COOL, these instant pedigree uploads save time and increase the accuracy of rabbitry records.

Bunny Book's #1 goal is to take the pain out of pedigrees and make managing your rabbitry simple and efficient. We are determined to help you have the best experience mass transferring your records from other pedigree systems and coordinating mass data transfers.

Bunny Book is currently in development. Our latest Beta 2 build has been able to successfully extract individual rabbits from multi-generation pedigrees, and link records to their respective dam and sire. During these beta builds, we are sharing sneak peeks into development with our VIPs and Early-Bird members. Following our final Beta 3 build, after ironing out the last bugs and fixes, we hope to have Bunny Book Basic profiles available to release to the public by the end of 2024.

Bunny Book is very excited to support cavy breeders with our revolutionary new pedigree management system. As soon as our foundational software is launched to the public and running smoothly, Cavies are first in line to be added to the program!

The ability to have multiple users has been one of the TOP requests from our Bunny Book VIPs and community. In order to foster youth projects and encourage breeder mentorships and  cooperation, Bunny Book's Premium profiles will be able to add multiple breeders to manage individual breeding projects, operating out of the same rabbitry location.

Bunny Book was launched in the spring of 2024, by a couple of average rabbit breeders out in Colorado - Jacob and Nancy Summers. Determined to find an easier way to upload and manage pedigrees, they reached out on social media gather market research from the online community. After getting amazing feedback and ideas for a new system, the Summers teamed up fellow VIP breeders all across North America to start Crowd-Funding an exciting new Instant Pedigree software called Bunny Book!
